Themed Lands

There will be four primary 'lands' in Epic Universe, each equally immersive and exciting. In this park, there will be something for every guest in your party, from thrill rides and captivating performances to delicious food and character-meet-and greets with some of your favorite characters!

Super Nintendo World

One of the confirmed lands in Epic Universe is Super Nintendo World, which will be slightly larger and more detailed than its predecessor in Japan. Some attractions expected to be found here include a driving simulation known as Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, a dark ride for the little ones called Yoshi's Adventure, and a rumored Donkey Kong-themed subsection with a possible mine-cart coaster attraction. With the success of this land overseas, we can't wait to see what it will bring in Orlando.

Universal Classic Monsters

Younger generations may be unaware of this, but if it weren't for the success of films like Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Wolfman, the company, Universal Pictures, may have been put out of business for good! Produced from the 1930s to 1950s, these famous horror films garnered funding and fans that would spur the company to further heights. As a tribute to these legendary films, a portion of Epic Universe will likely explore their worlds and thrill guests by bringing their characters to life!

How to Train Your Dragon

The next land on our list is one that centers around the immensely popular How to Train Your Dragon franchise, created by DreamWorks. Guests will have the incredible chance to see the Isle of Berk with their own eyes at Epic Universe. This land will thrill adults and children alike, with a rumored coaster that simulates dragon flight, among other rides, a sit-down restaurant themed after the Great Hall, and a stage show!

Harry Potter

This is the land we have the least amount of information on. It has been speculated that it will venture into the enchanting Fantastic Beasts franchise, but Universal has yet to confirm any details. Despite our lack of confirmation, one thing is clear: with the colossal achievement seen in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure when bringing the Harry Potter world to life, we can be certain that this will be nothing short of showstopping.

As more news on this truly epic theme park emerges, I will be sure to keep you updated! Epic Universe is set to open by the summer of 2025, and I can't wait!
